This post lists all the SCCM management point logs. When you are working with management point related issues, you need to be aware of its log files. These log files help you with troubleshooting MP issues.
A management point provides policy and content location information to clients. It also receives configuration data from clients. The SCCM clients use a service location process to locate site system servers.
When you install SCCM for the first time, the management point and distribution point roles are installed by default on the same server. However, you can deselect the default options and split the management point and distribution point roles across different servers. When you uninstall a management point in SCCM, you’ll still need to review the logs to determine if the role uninstallation was successful. You can find the MP log files at %ProgramFiles%\SMS_CCM\Logs\ on the MP if the MP was created before the client being installed. Otherwise, they are at %windir%\ccm\logs.
