Microsoft released the latest SCCM 2403 on April 22, 2024. Among its notable features are the rebranding of Azure Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID, a new monitoring dashboard for detecting software update issues, centralized search in the console, and more.
The first SCCM CB release of the year 2024 is version 2403. The SCCM 2403 was first made available on April 22, 2024, and its support ends on October 22, 2025. Many new features and enhancements have been added to Configuration Manager 2403. It’s worth upgrading to this version.
The Configuration Manager 2403 current branch update is accessible as an in-console update for all customers. This means the update can be installed from the console on sites that are running ConfigMgr version 2211 or later.
SCCM 2403 is a Baseline version
When setting up a new site, SCCM 2403 can be used as a baseline version, and the media will be made available shortly after its general release.
Organizations running Configuration Manager 2309 can directly upgrade to version 2403 via the console. Customers running 2211 or later will be able to update to version 2403 directly from the console.
