Microsoft has released new ConfigMgr Power BI reports and you can download them for free. You can download these Power BI reports for download and use with Configuration Manager current branch.
Starting in Configuration Manager version 2002, you can integrate Power BI Report Server with Configuration Manager reporting. These are sample reports that you can install in Configuration Manager. Following are the sample reports that are provided by Microsoft.
- Software Update Compliance Status
- Software Update Deployment Status
There are actually two ways to download these Power BI reports.
- Download the Power BI reports directly from Microsoft download site and use them.
- Download the Power BI reports from Community hub.
The first method is simple and you can download the reports directly from Microsoft download site. The second method involves using the community hub to download the reports. In both methods, you will still get 2 same reports as described above.

Download ConfigMgr Power BI Reports
To download the ConfigMgr Power BI reports, first visit the Microsoft download center. Click the Download button to download the ConfigMgrSamplePowerBIReports.exe.

Install Configuration Manager Power BI reports
The following procedure should be used to install Power BI reports for SCCM. Right click the ConfigMgrSamplePowerBIReports.exe and select run as administrator. Accept the license agreement by clicking Yes.

Click Browse and specify the location where you want to extract the sample Power BI reports.

The ConfigMgr Power BI reports are extracted to the destination folder. To use the reports, you must first install Power BI desktop on your server.

After you have installed the Power BI desktop, open these reports. Enter the ConfigMgr Database Server Name and ConfigMgr Database Name and click Load. After the report is loaded, you can first save the report. From the Power BI desktop application, click File > Save as and save the report. You can save the report to a folder on the root Configuration Manager reporting folder on the reporting point server.
