This post lists all the new features that have been introduced with Intune 2502 release. These new features will benefit your organization and improve the overall productivity.
The Intune updates are released every month, and with every release we see a set of new features, additional apps support and fixes included. Most of these new features are implemented based on user feedback. So next time, when you try out a feature, do let the MS Intune team know about how the feature worked for you.
If your existing Intune tenant is at service release 2502, it may take a few days to update to the latest release. All the new features included with February 2025 service release of Intune are available only after the tenant is updated to version 2502.

New Features in Intune 2502 Release
Let us have a look at the new features and improvements that were added to Intune 2502 service release, released in the month of February 2025.
- Managed Home Screen QR Code Authentication in public preview.
- Android OS version, Security patch and last device reboot time details are now available from the Device Information page of the Managed Home Screen app.
- You can now choose to expose a setting in the Managed Home Screen app to allow users to select a ringtone.
- Intune is introducing limited live chat support within the Intune admin console.
- You can now deploy the Intune security baseline for Windows version 24H2 to your Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices.
- New feature – Device query for multiple devices. This feature allows you to gain comprehensive insights about your entire fleet of devices using Kusto Query Language (KQL) to query across collected inventory data for your devices.
- Use Microsoft Security Copilot with Endpoint Privilege Manager to help identify potential elevation risks
- Update to App’s workload experience in Intune.
- A new setting has been added in the Windows settings catalog to configure multiple display mode.
- Updated security baseline for Microsoft Edge v128.
