Windows Server 2022 updates can now be enabled in SCCM and WSUS, allowing you to patch your server devices efficiently. If you are using WSUS alone for update management, simply activate the Server 2022 category through the WSUS console. For SCCM users, the category must be enabled in the Software Update Point properties.
By default, Server 2022 updates don’t show up in the WSUS console unless you enable it. Make sure you are a WSUS administrator before making any changes to products and classifications.
If you want to enable patching for Server 2022 using SCCM, you need to enable the category under Software Update Point properties.
